Hi Everyone! It’s here! Our July Bible Challenge! I just can’t believe where this past month has gone. It seemed like we were just getting ready for summer. Now it’s almost the 4th of July!

So, from the picture above you can see that the theme for July 2018 is “Freedom”. When you think of freedom, what do you think of? Do you think of the stars and stripes of the Flag of the USA?

Bec Scribbles Planner Ideas 6/25/18

img_4380

Hello Everyone! How did you like the first part of the “Bec Scribbles Planner Ideas” series? I hope that you are getting great enjoyment out of these posts and can use them to get your Faith back in your daily planning.

Let’s set the scene for this one. My mom comes to visit a lot. We don’t live as close to each other as we used to but when she visits it’s like she never left. She had the presents all around the Christmas tree for my husband, my two kids and I. So here I am, just like a little kid at Christmas, snooping in the presents. I think I almost already knew what they were getting but I was still a bit baffled as to what I had awaiting in the bag. Now don’t worry, we had presents under the tree for my mom too! I kept snooping and asking her did you give me this, or was it this or how about this?

New Planner Series on my Blog

Hello Everyone! How are you doing today? So I have decided to start a series on my blog called Bec Scribbles’ Planner Ideas. I would like to incorporate scripture writing, faith and Bible plans in this series. As I am writing this, I have so many ideas I feel like my head is going to POP! However, in this series, I do not have an end date. I just know that I am starting today.

I have so many ideas of how we can do some faith journaling and scripture writing and incorporate this into our daily lives. I just want to bring you many ideas to help you with Bible challenges that you are working on or maybe even the Bible challenge I have started to bring to you every month. I feel God put it on my heart to give you as many ideas as I can because I have felt “stuck” lately. When I say I have felt stuck, I mean that I have seemed to hit a road block in how I am documenting my faith.

So let’s start today. Let’s get organized and start documenting our faith. The first in the series is coming up in the next blog post. Stay tuned!

Daily Devotions, Agendas and Journaling

Hey Everyone! How is your day? I have been thinking a lot about the Bible challenge I post every month. I love getting these verses to you, but notice that I haven’t had time to keep up with it. Have you ever felt conviction from God knowing that you are suppose to be in His Word daily? I have felt so much need to be in God’s Word that I am trying to gather my thoughts together.

Next month, I already have my theme picked out. Can you guess what it is? Here is a picture of my hint.

Also, if you have been able to follow along, I included a day to set up a devotional book. I am going to have YouTube videos starting soon to show you what kind of devotional books you can make at home. I will also give you some ideas of planners that you can use for your daily scripture writing, faith journaling or just overall daily agenda planning.

Worship Song Sunday

Hey Everyone! How are you today? It has been one very warm Sunday here. So warm in fact that our above ground pool reached about 87 degrees. It felt so great getting in and cooling off.

As I’m in the pool, I’m pondering what song I was going to pick for today’s post. I thought I would’ve already had one picked out for this week. However, any song I would’ve picked was not coming to me and saying, “pick me pick me!”

NLT Study Bible and NLT Illustrated Study Bible Review

Have you ever wondered what some subjects meant in the Bible? Or, have you wanted to know more about a person and what they were like back when Jesus was walking the earth? Sometimes, if we read the Bible we might think of different questions and would like to read more about the answers. This is exactly what Tyndale House Publishers did with these two Bibles. They are the New Living Translation Study Bible and New Living Translation Illustrated Study Bible.

You might be wondering what the difference between the two Bibles is. They are both study Bibles so how can they be different? Below is a table showing some similarities and differences between the two. Let’s look at the table first, and then we can go over in depth what makes these Bibles unique.

Worship Song Sunday – 6/10/18

Hi Everyone! Welcome to another Worship Song Sunday! I almost feel like I’ve been on a hiatus this past week because I haven’t been in much of social media lately. Sometimes that is a good thing though. I hope that I can keep up with my posts so you all can read them more often.

Today, I have a song for you to hear that I’ve always loved when I was a teenager and love to hear now as an adult. It is called “Walk on Water” by Audio Adrenaline. You can listen to it here: Walk on Water by Audio Adrenaline.

Book Review – The Complete Guide to Dream Interpretation

img_4030

Have you ever wanted to know why you had a dream? There are so many times that I have written down what dream I had and then tried to decode it myself. I was always blown away with what information I could find about the meaning of my dream.

Now take a look at this book above. This book goes a little more in depth than just your ordinary “this is why you are dreaming of falling” type of book. It gives a Biblical interpretation of your dream as well as a physical response to your surroundings. The author also goes into detail on how you can keep track of your dreams, their meaning and also how you can apply this to listening to God in your life.

I highly recommend this book to all who are interested deciphering their own dreams. With this book, you are able to go through the steps of dream decoding and grow spiritually and emotionally. Just about anything you can dream about is in this book and has scripture to go with it. This is just amazing how well she is able to pick out scripture for every dream. I suggest you take a look at this book. It is worth every word.

Please note; I received a free copy of this book from Chosen Blogger Review Program in exchange for my review. All thoughts about this book are my own.
